Preparing for your trip
Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure they have all the required documents that comply with both the airline’s policies and the destination country’s entry regulations. Any costs or fees arising from missing or invalid documents are the passenger’s responsibility. To avoid complications, DiasporaFly advises carrying a valid passport and, if necessary, a visa at all times.
Check-In Guidelines
We recommend that travelers arrive at the airport at least two hours before their DiasporaFly flight departs, as check-in counters close 40 minutes prior to departure.
Policies for Unaccompanied Minors
Special regulations apply to children traveling alone to ensure their safety. Parents are encouraged to carefully prepare their child for the journey. Please note: Online booking is currently not available for unaccompanied minors.
The following are considered unaccompanied minors by DiasporaFly:
- Children aged 5 to 11 traveling without an adult companion
- Children aged 3 to 5 traveling with a companion aged 12 to 15
Upon request, supervision can also be arranged for youths aged 12 to 18. Bookings must be made by the parents or the individual authorized to pick up the child. Please ensure all necessary documents are ready before the journey.
Support for Passengers with Special Needs
DiasporaFly provides dedicated services for passengers with special needs at the airport and onboard. Trained staff are available to assist with departure and arrival procedures. Most airports offer complimentary wheelchairs and accompanying services. In our aircraft, seat armrests are adjustable. Passengers using wheelchairs are advised to arrive at the check-in counter at least 120 minutes before departure.
