Checked Baggage
Each passenger, including children, is entitled to 20 kg of free checked baggage. It is recommended that no single piece of luggage exceeds 32 kg.

Excess Baggage Fees
If your baggage exceeds the free allowance, additional charges will apply. These fees are calculated based on the weight of the excess luggage.

Carry-On Baggage
For safety and convenience, each passenger is permitted to bring one carry-on bag on board. The maximum weight allowed is 6 kg (or 8 kg for bags containing laptops), and the dimensions must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm. It is advisable to pack valuable items, medications, and fragile goods in your carry-on baggage. Additional liability details can be found in your booking confirmation.

Charges for Excess Baggage
The baggage weight limit is stated on your flight ticket. Any baggage exceeding this limit is considered excess baggage and will incur fees. These charges depend on the extra weight or number of pieces and vary according to the applicable tariff.

Baggage Loss or Damage
Most misplaced baggage is located within 24 hours. If your luggage remains missing for more than five days, an in-depth search will be initiated by the Lost and Found office. For baggage not located after five days, or for inquiries about lost items, please contact our baggage center in Bern.
